First and foremost can I thank you, the Committee and the members for the very generous donation of £400 which enables us to buy our new change strip. It is a real boost and has given everyone at Maine Road F.C. a lift. I thoroughly enjoyed your AGM. Chatting with Ian Niven was a privilege and the interest shown in MRFC in subsequent conversations with members promises well for a lasting relationship.
The shirt order has gone in and barring unforeseen circumstances I should be able to deliver the replicas to your next meeting on 3rd August. Can you allocate some part (the end?) of your meeting to allow me to dish them out and take the money. I am hoping that the selection of sizes and combination of long sleeve/short sleeve will work out o.k., but we can always order more if I’m a bit out on that one. As said at the AGM, we will sell them for £20.
I have given Didsbury Blues a mention on our own web-site (www.maineroadfc.com) The league have also covered your sponsorship deal along with that of Reeds Rains (www.nwcfl.com) .
At the next meeting I will confirm the offer to gain free entry to our home games on production of a DB membership card up until 31 December 2011. There will also be a Didsbury Blues advert in next season’s programme. We can put that together at our end(see Reddish one attached), but should you want anything special in it let me know.
